Yes SAGE is good motherboard. Only minus is that not support newer EMR A0.The SAGE layout is excellent.
Currently using a Q03J (80 lanes) with RTX 4000 (Slot 1) and 14(!) nmve x4 DC SSDs via M.2_1 & M.2_2 and AOC-SLG4-4E4T (Slot 3&5 for U.2) and Hyper M.2 x16 Gen5 (Slot 7 for M.2).
Even VROC works.
No it works fine for me. I don't remember if there's an io shield. You may need to reseat the motherboard to i/o shield and make sure it is aligned well for close fit if there is io shield. On the Asus W790 Sage is anyone having issues with rear I/O USB C connectors? My cables seem to be pushed out too far by the I/O Shield which has a very narrow opening to the MB connector. Its as if it needs an extended USB connector.
it is correct: with single PSU you need to supply the secondary PSUs ATX12V(2)_1 too.Is it possible to damage the board or are all the connectors paralleled and can I connect it this way too?
When I owned W790E-SAGE so I used with my power supply Seasonic TX 1600W ATX3: 1xATX_PWR, 1xATX_12V, 1xATX_12V, 1xPCIE_8P, 1xPCIE_6P.Question - How to properly connect one power supply to the ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE motherboard? Very often I see on the Internet photos that with one power supply, additional 8-pin connectors are connected to the upper connectors ATX_12V(1)_1 and ATX_12V(2)_1, when in the instructions on pages 62-63 it is shown differently.

Did you replace the cable besides the switch/router? Maybe a cold boot could also help if the network controller got into a state.I am having an issue with my 10g ports. They were working all fine before. The ports functional and OS sees the network csrd and both ports but ports do not get connected to switch/router and does not light up. Basically failing at ethernet level. I tried 3 different switches and routers. They're all 1g but ports should have worked with them.
Anyone has an idea what the issue could be?
Oh yes, I tried 2 different switches. Primary router is same. Strange thing is that it was all working fine before. I don't understand how it can stop working .Did you replace the cable besides the switch/router? Maybe a cold boot could also help if the network controller got into a state.
