I have four ssd1600mr ( HUSMR1650ASS201 ) in my R730 that I had in raid 10 for about two weeks, and now all show failed, anyway to flash the firmware from windows 11?

I have about 20 more of these, but I would prefer not to brick them all....

I bought some 16TB DELL EMC HC550 (PN 08CCGH).
Is it possible to update firmware here with the OEM firmware?

The versions for the firmwares are very different from mine. I have a mix of A7J0 and A907 drives, but the versions there are ?D05 apparently while I expected at most an AD05. Is that WD05 the latest non-OEM (base HGST) version?

PS: there is an AD05, but it appears to be for the SAS version of the drive... are the firmwares interchangeable if the first 4 digits (A4GN) are the same?

Hello ,i have an IBM IC35L036UWD210 SCSI 36gb hd with 7/2002 S5BS firmware on a Compaq W6000 dual Xeon MP Gallatins and i want to update its firmware to
10/31/2003 S5DE .I found the microcode to the AIX cd roms made for the IBM series but cannot be use on x86 hardware and i would like ask you if you know of any other IBM/HGST software either in DOS or windows that can update the disk drive to the latest firmware IC35L03.415A3030.53354445 .Thank you .

You don't need special vendor tool, you just need the correct binary file to flash.

You could boot linux live version, there you can use fwupd, seachest/seaflash, hdparm. Or you can use FreeBSD live, there you have native camcontrol and also hdparm. All of them are universal, you just need the right binary.
