NVMe boot with SuperMicro X9DA7 & X9DRi-F

I guess I ran into this same problem (was using SSD and tried to install Proxmox on an NVME). Can someone provide me with bios for X9DRH-7TF?

Hey there whats the difference between nvme4 and nvme5. Will these work on X9DRH-7F?try this(two versions, nvme4 and nvme5.ffs)

there are two nvme ffs available and i can't test if 5 works on APTIO 4 BIOS, so i made two BIOS.
one with NvmExpressDxe_4.ffs
and other with NvmExpressDxe_5.ffs
So I recently received a Supermicro X9DRi-LN4F+ board, updated the BMC and the BIOS to the latest versions. I decided to try booting from NVME, discovered I couldn't, found this thread and tried to add the NVME DXE drivers to the bios. MMTool doesn't see it as a valid AMI BIOS so I used UEFITool 0.28.0 per the guide. After inserting the DXE driver, the tool removes two padded subtypes and I'm hesitant to try using the modded BIOS.
Can anyone point me to an already modded BIOS version or tell me how to properly insert the NVME dxe? I tried both the version 5 and the small version with the same issue.
BIOS version I installed was X9DR3P9.B20 11/20/2019 Rev 3.4

X9 uses APTIO 4 BIOS
use older MMTool(e.g. 5.0.0.7) for APTIO 4 BIOS.
NvmExpressDxe_4.ffs ( seems 5 works too )

Thanks for the assist. I used MMTool 5.0.0.7 and inserted version 5. Checked with UEFITool and the pads are still there so I think it worked. I'll upload it tonight when I get home. I assume I can just upload the .fd file using ipmi?
Worked great, now booting TrueNAS from a 16GB Intel OPTANE drive. Thanks again for the help!

try 4 first.
version 5 is newer better but compatibility is unknown ( but worked somehow )
