H12SSL-I Stuck at "bmc initiating"

is the heartbeat LED of the BMC flashing fast or 1 second on then 1 sec. off ??? (starts after 20-20 sec. after powering with standby power)

even if i would fit (PCI card from 2012) you can flash only the own FW of the card, not the FW of the motherboaard.

It flashed fast continuously. I turned on the machine in the evening and it still flasshed fast the next morning.

the BMC was not working, this fast flashing indicates the boot of the ASPEED chip. you had a problem form the start away.

problably the BIOS was adjusted not to wait for BMC init. and you switched that on. some options don't reset with CMOS clear.
but all this is guess. or have you OEM board with flash chips in sockets ??
