Thanks for the information.even if i would fit (PCI card from 2012) you can flash only the own FW of the card, not the FW of the motherboaard.
the BMC was not working, this fast flashing indicates the boot of the ASPEED chip. you had a problem form the start away.It flashed fast continuously. I turned on the machine in the evening and it still flasshed fast the next morning.
replace the FW chips. if you can't do this have you a friend which can handle a soldering iron ?Point is I cannot RMA the mb and there is no access to the console!
i meant has THIS board sockets like on the supermicro manual pictures ?Just this one.
Yes, as I said, it had worked smoothly at the beginning.i meant has THIS board sockets like on the supermicro manual pictures ?
??? you say the heartbeat LED was flashing fast form begin ?Yes, as I said, it had worked smoothly at the beginning.
deafault is wait for BMC init."problably the BIOS was adjusted not to wait for BMC init. and you switched that on. some options don't reset with CMOS clear."
This is most likely the case.
the BMC BIOS flash chip in sockets, replacable without tools, look at the pictures (google)Sorry, I can't get it.
shit ? got cheap OEM board or payd much ? thats the risk at OEMsIf that were the case, I would not be in this shit.
