The price of NVME have dropped significantly recently (In UK at least) where a 1Tb is around the same price as a 250Gb was late last year.

Example (I purchased one of these recently)

This is my one with 2x NVME

38 quid for 1TB

Can I ask you which model of N100 you have please?

A link?

FMI07 N5105 JK 4L-V02 CBOX в настоящее время доступно только обновление BIOS для JK 4L-V01.
Hello! Can you tell me please, where do you look for BIOS updates? And have you already tried to update something?

I have the same board "FMI07 N5105 JK 4L-V02 CBOX". The search only finds your entry with the given board name.

The inscription on the motherboard: LH-JSP4l ver.3.C.
BIOS version: JK4LV105

Pass through for faster speed and lower power consumption, e.g. by enabling hardware offload on the NICs

Is there anyway to use the RJ45 COM port on a WooYi G30-N5105 as an actual serial port, rather than just console redirection? APC's MODBUS stuff works so much better over serial than USB (on pfSense).

I'm wondering if anyone had previously had problem with proxmox + a BSD vm, and installed the updated april bios, and then can report back on if their problem was still there?

Yes. I tried installing OpenBSD inside Proxmox before the BIOS update and it would crash after while. After the BIOS update my OpenBSD VM has been stable. Before the BIOS with the new microcode was released I'd use the microcode update via Proxmox which also worked fine.

Hello,

Is this the Fan connector (4 pin) where it needs to be connected (pointed by the red arrow) ?
View attachment 29171
Can someone who has a CWWK v5 N5105 mini PC and has a fan connected show me picture with the fan connection and the wiring ?

I'm trying to fit an 80x80x10 mm fan in my mini PC but I'm not sure which is the proper voltage 5v or 12v and where it can be connected the SATA power port or that FAN port with the pico blade connector indicated by the red arrow in the attached picture.

Also does a 4 pin PWM 80x80x10 mm fan works fine or does it need to be 2 or 3 pin ?

Thank you

it is the 4 x 1.25 JST connection 5v. But I would recommend going for a quiet Noctua (2200 RPM or lower) fan on top of the box

Thanks for confirming this @djovani.

The CWWK v5 N5105 mini PC has wholes only for 80 mm fan, and so far I did not see anyone selling a 5 volt 80 x 80 x 10 mm fan with PWM (only 12 volts). Noctua does not have at all any 80 x 80 x 10 mm model they have only the 40 x 40 x 10 mm model with PWM.

So far I have found this model Evercool 80mm x 10mm 5v 3 pin Fan + Screws EC8010LL05EA Evercool 80mm x 10mm 5v 3 pin Fan + Screws EC8010LL05EA | eBay which fits but it's only 3 pin.

3-4 pins doesn't matter, both work. And it doesn't seems like this is controlling the fan speed, so no difference there.
As I mentioned, I have putted one on top of the box, not screwed anyway. It works silently with no noise, and definatly help significantly more than the internal 80/80/10.
I am using https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Noctua-R...7260638&sprefix=noctua+reduced,aps,120&sr=8-4

Wow,
I've got a GF-1338NP-12-V14 and I want to thank you all the contributors to this topic for the information!

I'll try with the bios update only (and lowering power limits) since microcode is updated. And see if at last the VM becomes stable.

ty again.

Hi guys! My N5105 i226V device temperature is getting from 55C to 65C under heavy load and I'm wondering if that temperature is still ok? At what temperature should I start worrying about it and should start cooling my device down by a fan? Thank you very much for help.
