I have a pair of this enclosure and I'm currently using adapters to mount ten 2.5" SSDs into 3.5" drive bays.

Does anyone know if there exists a higher density version of these enclosures purpose built for 2.5" disks?

Icy Dock has a crapton of options, both SAS/SATA and NVMe: Products-

Their 3.5" stuff is okay in my experience, but the prices have gone through the roof recently, even more so than everything else. I expect a similar story for their other products.

Yeah, the IcyDock prices are 3x what they used to be.

I've switched to using these cheaper Athena Power units for my front-loaded SSD stuff now:

I've seen Icy Dock's U.2 offerings, but the price they're asking for an unmanaged backplane/cage is a little high.
