Pretty sure I edited my passthru.map on esxi 6.7 to pass through a sata controller on a socket 2011-3 motherboard. so I'd try to give it a shot.On ESXI 6.5 you can edit passthru.map to force a pass thru of the sata ports. However, from 6.7 onwards, you can no longer edit passthru.map.

I'm seeing 34w idle with two dimms and one nvme.Did anyone get an idle reading? One boot nvme drive plus two sata is not too bad for a low power virtualization box.
