I have the same problem with my XikeStor SKS3200-8E1X-P (8x 2,5Gb +1x 10G SFP+ web managed POE).
Firmware v1.90

I have put the settings in, went to the tools menu and choose SAVE.
I choose Reboot in the Tools menu, and the switch reboots fine with all the settings intact.
If I pull the power, the switch goes back to factory defaults.

To make matters worse, restoring a configuration backup (tools menu) does not seem to work.

To make it a little easier for myself, I have changed the factory default IP using the /ftdft.cgi menu

I'm messaging the seller on Ali about it for the last couple of days, but they don't seem to understand the issue.
They just keep saying I have to save the configuration.

I think these switches are somehow vulnerable to power stability issues which are causing flash contents to get corrupted.
There is no separate NVRAM to keep configuration, config is kept in the same flash chip as the bootloader and firmware.

As @Shonk suggested, I replaced no-name PSU from the switch set with a "WD" PSU (taken from WD MyBook set), my switch was has been running fine for 2 weeks since then with no issues. It's a bit too short to tell if the problem is gone for good but I decided to put it back into my "production" and let it run for longer period of time to see if corruption issues are gone.

@StanG If your switch is "misbehaving", try to reflash it. If the "standard" WebGUI is still operational, then use it to reflash. If configured IP disappeared and switch is not initializing (status LED flashing continously) then check if it hasn't switched to firmware recovery mode (recovery interface is on http://192.168.1.1) and reflash from there.
In all my previous cases it always dropped into recovery mode (after reboot following slowness on the WebGUI) and I was able to reflash from there. Until the recent/latest case when it did not even get into recovery mode and I had to desolder the flash chip and program it there with flash image I dumped for @up-n-atom, soon after I purchased it.

@up-n-atom I read you reply just now (sorry, was away for 2 weeks). While I could not make Winbond W25Q32 chip to work, it instread instantly worked with GD25Q16. No idea what was wrong with Winbond, for sure I calculated OTP checksum correctly but it was still experiencing bootloop. I repeated the same OTP calculation/flashing procedure with GigaDevice and it worked right off the bat.
Nevertheless, since @Shonk suggested it all may be caused by bad PSU, I put original FM25Q16 back to see if the the corruption issues are gone after PSU replacement. If not, I will replace the chip to GD and check again. But it all takes time.
Now I implemented simple Monit check in OPNsense to monitor if WebGUI hasn't died.
Thanks for the Aliexpress link for 200mils version of FM25Q16. I could not find it myself. Their search engine is just horrible. Somtimes it will not find an item if you do not provide exact string depicting what you need. Otherwise the thing you are looking for might be on 10th page... FM25Q16 searches were only finding 150mils version for me.

With the different PSU, after 2 days of operation, the switch does not respond to the WebUI and turned again into an unmanaged switch.
Power Cycle helped again.
So, unfortunately the root-cause was *not* the PSU and my problem persists.
Finally solved the issue - by simply re-flashing the switch with the same Firmware once again.

Now it it stable since 2 weeks - before the re-flash I lost connectivity to the WebUI latest after 2 or 3 days.

I recently bought Keeplink KP-9000-9XHPML-X with default firmware v1.9.1 and hardware v1.1 and none of my PoE devices are working. There's no PoE management option in the web portal either. Wondering which firmware build did you end up with?
I used the firmware in the post #228 for S1100WP-8GT-1XGT-SE, which is 8x2.5gbe+1x10gbe (all RJ45) with managed and POE. My keeplink is 8x2.5gbe+1xSFP+ managed/POE but the firmware seems to be treating SFP+ and 10gbe RJ45 the same so it works nicely.

There is another firmware which seemed more suitable at #352, but for me it bricked the router (bootloop) and I ended up needing to connect UART port (which is not labelled on the PCB, I had to do an educated guess) and go to bootloader mode to restore the firmware in #228.

I have the 5 ports + 1 SFP ( ZX-SWTGW215AS ) I´m having the same problem of losing access to the web ui, even ping stops responding, but after a reboot, it works for some hours.
Anyone here has the firmware to reflash it?

I've devoted some time today, to make a movie about the switch losing it's configuration after power cut.
As asked by XikeStor number 1 store on AliExpress.

But as luck would have it, I tried at least 6 times and the switch came back with it's settings intact every time.

So, I'm not sure if I should be happy, that it's now working as it should. Since I don't know if or when it will happen again.

Picked up another sodola 8+1 managed switch. Noticed this one came with a 1A wall brick vs 2A on the ones from last year. Others noticing similar with the other brands too?

My manged Horaco 8+1 also came with 1A power supply and it had been running fine with it.
Just for safety I've replaced it with better looking 1.5A psu which I got from shucked drive some time ago.

How well does this switch do IPv6? I have a simple network and I think a unmanaged switch would suffice, but the price for a managed one is very reasonable at the moment.

Are all features compatible with IPv6? I would hate to eventually find that most functionality only works with IPv4.

Can someone please help me, I am about to pull my hair out (not many left).
I have 2 Horaco Switches.

Setup:

Router --(LAN and VLAN ID 123 Tagged)--> Horaco Switch 1 -- (LAN and VLAN ID123 Tagged) --> Horaco Switch 2

I set VLAN ID 123 in Horaco Switch 1 and didn't touch PVID
Screenshot 2024-10-03 at 04.19.33.png

On Switch 2, I set VLAN 123 as tagged on all ports except port 8, there it's set to untagged.
I went to the PVID settings and set VID 123 on port 8.

Screenshot 2024-10-03 at 04.19.16.png
Screenshot 2024-10-03 at 04.19.59.png

I am still not getting an IP address on VLAN 123 Network but can access it, I don't understand. Router is a pfsense appliance.

EDIT: Also, for some reason, port 8 is showing as inactive, even though a second switch has been plugged in into the port...

This switch is a managed L2 switch, right? Not L3. In that case, all its features are on the L2 (MAC) level, not L3 (IP). :)

The switch's management interface might not be reachable over IPv6 though since some switch models have those settings commented out. Not sure about this exact model though.
