I presume that given the extra heatsink, those are 10GbE NICs?

Unfortunately, doesn't look like 10gbe. I'll keep my C2758 appliances until 10gbe sfp+ prices drop;)

With the two ports side-by-side, it looks just like the datto 10gige nas's from the rear, so if the ports are stacked, then it's gig-e, if they are side-by-side, it's 10gige.

Same seller also has Supermicro A1SRI-2758 boards for $150 OBO. Seems they've already sold half of their inventory in the past hour.

I dug far too deep on this one, but fairly sure it's 10GBASE-T.

This is the nas the board comes in - https://i.imgur.com/Suvud1u.png

S3B500 pulls up - Gigabyte MB10-DATTO-O7 Server NAS S3B2000 Auction (0006-2516785) | GraysOnline Australia

which matches the board layout/io-shield and specs.

Biggest misnomer is datto's wiki which lists 2 x 1gbe but it appears 10gbe is a secondary option on this line. - SIRIS 3 and NAS 3 Business Features & Specifications

By the way, if anyone bought one and needs the BIOS password, from my experience there's a 99.9% chance of it being either "R@str" or "Northern" or "NorthernLight$" (no quotes, caps as shown)
That will be useful. I'll be wanting to swap the boot device to USB.

received mine and works great, ipmi is just admin and password for creds. No bios password. Intel X557 like we thought, overall a great deal!

Any datto partners in a position to share Bios and BMC firmware for MB10-DATTO-O7 / MergePoint EMS(ast2400) ? Mine is from June 2016, gigabyte has firmware from 2018 on their site for this platform but not sure what else datto has done on this board compared to the B2B stock offering.

Thanks.

Holy crap, my board just arrived. This guy has the most pro packaging I have ever seen from an ebay auction, lol!

The box was 2'x2'x6" and filled with expandable foam packages, and in the center was the board, wrapped snugly in static-free foam.

I'm definitely leaving some good feedback on that.

Hot dang that was a screaming deal. They're at ~$300 now, still good but not a "scramble for the wallet and start throwing money" awesome. I still want >6 SATA ports though.

Mine is hung on "Please wait for BMC initialize..." with an 06 code on the screen.

It turns on the moment it's given power from the PSU, fan starts at a slow speed, and then after a minute flips to a high RPM.

The BMC led near the sata ports flashes, but once the CPU fan returns to idle, the green LED on the back of the board turns orange and nothing else seems to happen.

I've reset the bios and tried two different types of DDR4 and I haven't noticed any changes.

Anyone with a working one able to follow the BIOS update procedures from Gigabyte to SAVE and host a working BIOS image down?

I'd rather try to reflash a working ROM than try to update to an unsupported one...

Thanks.
