if the code is counting BIOS waits for BMC init.completed.If I shutdown motherboard and remove power cable from it and then reconnect it back motherboard start and it stuck in D7 state.
usualy halt on all errors but.....Im quick search in BIOS for Keyboard Error or something similar but didn't find it.
plug a kbd in ?Im check manual and BIOS but can't find anything like this...
can also be the infamous gigabyte D7 bug. reflash BIOS and clear CMOS helps a while...If I shutdown motherboard and remove power cable from it and then reconnect it back motherboard start and it stuck in D7 state.
do you use the USB2.0 ports for kbd ? if yes try to use the USB3.0 instead, i found many reports this helps (gigabyte AMD motherboards)Im enable power on state after power loss in BIOS. If I shutdown motherboard and remove power cable from it and then reconnect it back motherboard start and it stuck in D7 state
this is for the case you have disabled BMC. they talk together at POST."Wait for BMC" is disabled in BIOS.
you loose functionality. the BIOS and BMC interact/exchange data at POST.I want fast boot after power loss so I disable this option to speed up powering on...
it waits for BMC to bootup and be ready to communicate. Now after power lose need more time to POST
worksAnyone know if this board will boot with a 5600 (non x)?
Says 5600x in the QVL but no non x.
Thanks for the prompt responce. Thats good as I have already ordered bothworks
5600X comes VMR-B0 later in VMR-B2 stepping
afaik 5600 comes only in VMR-B2 stepping - not avail at script of QVL thought.
checked the BIOS, you need at least BIOS F11(can be updated by BMC)Thanks for the prompt responce. Thats good as I have already ordered both
