I thought I had a good deal when I bought my second one at €47! I wonder if the seller is reducing prices to clear AM4 boards to bring AM5 versions like Gigabyte MC13-LE0?

Ordered the other day, arrived today and all is working well. Shame it was not cheaper but at least it’s now working a 3200 and with full ECC. Thanks

I ended up compromising with 2666 since i found a sets of 4x32gb ecc udimms at 125$ per set.

And my first package from ali with the x8/x4/x4 risers was lost/refunded so waiting for a new one :rolleyes:

Im in Norway but the new ones are in Norwegian customs now.
Still missing my package with the 9400-16i hbas also.

Then whenever i get time to actualy build them im putting together 4 of these
- this mobo (duh) with 5700x
- 4x 32gb udimm ecc 2666
- x8/x4/x4 with connectx4 2x40gbe in the x8
- 9400-16i in the x4 slot
- inter tech 4f28 case

Then 4x8tb or something like that into each as a beginning and start migrating data.

Will the 9400-16 work ok at only 4x? Does it just run at half the max speed? (if so thats good to know)

Card works at x1/x2/x4/x8, the more lanes you give it the more its able to deliver.
For just spinners like il be using on it the 4000mb/s its limited to is still plenty.

EBay seller that probably did not realise that they go for more than standard ecc memory.

I don't want to activate ACS override for security reasons.
Can someone please tell me whether I can still passthrough the 6 SATA ports and the M2 slot (with an M2 to SATA adapter) to different VMs?
