so weirdly, the listing error mistake wasn't the same seller. but a different one:
(still has 2 cpus left at this time of posting).

I just received mine and it really was a 2680v4, like the photo, and shows all 14 cores in esxi!
I've bought the pair. One would hope the mistake extends to the other two. A nice fit for a X10DRi-T4+.

okay I really hope this works out well for you too. Fellow SRN7 bro. I actually was thinking of buying 2, but I only really needed 1, and I figured that a remaining pair would do someone else more good.

And remember everyone... The E5-16XX V1-V4 models are all Unlocked for overclocking (mostly in workstation boards, but my AsRock Rack E5 V3/V4 board has all of the overclocking features enabled). Though, they are single socket.

And IMO about overclocking your V4, there isn't. The "V3" overclocking guide is a real PITA and not worth the hassle and, IMO, possible security exploits in downloading hacked BIOSes and old microcode.

I also want to order 2, but the seller warn me might not support, as I got a X10DRi board.
if it does not work, please try
The following two are disabled on the BIOS:
- Disable C6 State Reporting
- Disable Spread Spectrum

please post your result.
