I can confirm that I ordered two locally last night and picked them up today. They're still sealed in the retail packaging so I'm not too worried about the contents.

If you were local, wonder if you could ve msg him and he would give you even more discount on the offer..lol...Was it a warehouse type place where you pick it up?

Anyway, i wonder how many of these monitors have gone to STH members total ;) . I am guessing the large majority?

The fellow stated that he had a warehouse up in Yakima and was bringing them down that night to Kennewick (where the listing was posted). I met him at a modest residence and he had a pile of them in his garage. The entire endeavour didn't last more than three minutes, but he seemed friendly enough. I didn't ask him how he got his hands on the lot.

Nice. Sounds like he got a pallet deal of some sort.

I wonder how some people can score a massive amount of cheap hardware like this ...lol
There's people right on here that do it. ;) A lot of times it's just being at the right place at the right time. If you know someone needing to dump a pallet or two and can take it right off their hands, a lot of times you can get it practically free depending on how badly they need the space. Holding cost is a real thing, lol.

I don't fault the seller, but I did encounter little oddities with the units I received from him...Mind you they totally look like legit new in box Lenovo displays to me.

I needed these for their brightness spec of 350 nits more than anything else. Yet, when I connect via mains power cord and HDMI and set it to max brightness this model is only reaching 210 nits with all 3 meters I have (2x SM208 meters & 1 Calibrite meter). Maybe Lenovo swapped panel suppliers for this model in the past year or something else is going on.

It did have the "calibration report" in the box which curiously graphs 300 nits on color white (RGB color 255). Had I been able to confirm 300 nits for white right out of the box, I would have happy and just left it alone. Did you guys notice something similar and had to change one of the LCDs factory settings in a meaningful way like turning on "overdrive" to actually reach brighter levels?

Other little things is the boxes didn't actually include the DisplayPort or USB A cables that Lenovo indicates should be in box.

I've only tested 1 of the 3 units I've received.

The first one I tested did have a pixel that's always stuck in its on/illuminated state, but of course that can happen with any vendors LCDs.

Please also test the other 2 and let us know! I don't have a meter myself
