Platinum 8480+ ES 4th Gen
Platinum 8490H ES 5th Gen

8490H is 4th gen, 8590H will be 5th gen.
8490H ES QYFX is D0 step 3
8490H ES Q03J is E0 step 4

both the 60 and 56 core have TDP=350Watts. the 56 core has higher all core turbo which erases the ahead of 60 cores until you need the etxra 4 cores in any case.

yes, this is the E-stepping container. if you use MCExtractor or a Hexeditor you see this MCU is valid for all E-Stepping cpuid.

no. 8461V QYFU has 80 lanes, 112 are required to use all M.2 and slots.

I build mine with W790E-SAGE SE and 8461V, thanks to @RolloZ170. I haven't hit any issues yet and raw performance and capabilities trumps over LGA 3647 and LGA 4189 systems less than the cost.

Just an update re my purchase, the CPU is running better than W3 processor I had... More stable etc

Whenever I try to install a memory into slot DIMM_A1, I got error code 29. The rest of the slots (7 out of 8) on the W790s Sage SE are fine. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I do not think it is the RAM that is defective because if I place the same RAM into a different slot it works fine.

Seems like bad motherboard or CPU. Try with a different CPU if possible.

You guys are the best! I removed the CPU from the board, and although there were no visible damage on the CPU or the board, the reinstallation solved the issue. CrystalDisk Mark score also markedly improved .The motherboard pins and the CPU pads must have had some micro-misalignment or something.
