Hi,
After swapping out my data storage disks, I'm swapping out my VM storage for something quicker.
Currently debating between:
480GB Dell S3500 for ~ $200 (Intel lists warranty till 2019)
Samsung PM853T 960GB ~$330 ( can't find the warranty check tool lol)
Intel DC P3605 1.6TB $850,- (no...
I was looking these SSDs up as they are coming out with a new dual port model next month. Here is the official product page: TECHMAN SSD
The whitepaper is #1 on Google search results yet is marked confidential: http://tm-ssd.com/whitepaper/TM-XC100-NVMe-SSD-Technical-Whitepaper.pdf

I have to admit, it has been awhile since we have had this many SSDs. They will have to go back soon but fun while they are here.
I think the 18x 450GB 10K RPM drives that arrived today are feeling inadequate. The 1.5TB of DDR4 that also arrived was much happier.
Unfortunately, one of the...
I have been trying to get this to work without success, I'm guessing it is probably some BIOS setting I am missing. First, I am not trying to make the NVMe device boot the system. I'd just like to be able to use the drive as a storage device.
The setup S2600CP2J board with 2xE5-2670v1, 128gb...
Hopefully I'm in the right area to be asking this question if not please feel free to move this post if appropriate.

The seller will not go below $535 but this might interest someone here:
Intel SSDPE2ME800G4 P3600 Series 800GB 2.5" SAS SSD 00D8439
The P3600 series has become my go-to NVMe SSDs.
I bought a new Dell T630 along with 2x AOC-SLG3-2E4 cards (non-R) and hooked up an Intel P3600 1.2TB NVMe with no success. I think it might be the cables. I was able to get the Funtin kit with the drive to work.
Any ideas on getting the AOC-SLG3-2E4 to work? Did I order the wrong cables...
CPUs were upgraded to 26733 and memory is now 8 x 32 LRDIMM

Is there a Supermicro / generic 4x NVMe bay + PCIe card yet + cables? I'm looking to put one in a Dell box or a white-box. Seems like this would be made by now.
Similar to the Intel A2U44X25NVMEDK
Thanks!
