god damn that Eisdecke is heavy, I can literally bludgeon someone to death with it with how heavy it is.

Strange issue with one of my pumps too: it tries to spin up, maxes out and then shuts down, rinse and repeat. Seems to work fine now though.

Well I can only hope the R4BE I bought off OCN works because I have zero recourse with the seller now, since a YouTuber asslicker on OCN banned me for... "bad vibes", whatever the **** that is lmao. GDPR deletion request sent, I'm done dealing with OCN and their shit.

Anyway, my USA contact shipped out my stuff again so you guys will likely see 1680V2 overclocking posts from me next week or so.

On a completely different note: EKWB isn't as dead as I thought them to be! I ordered a few fittings (STC 16/10 Rotary, Torque female T-splitter and a 28mm male-male extender) and I got them in just a few days after preordering them on HighFlow.

Shit, if I knew that I wouldn't have bought all that crap (3 meters of ZMT, a few 90s, a few STC fittings and a male-male rotary) off Titanrig. Oh well.

ah **** the R4BE with the waterblocks I bought off eBay has a dead memory channel. At least the board works, but man is memory channel #4 missing a bummer.

****ING LOVE MY HAILEA CHILLER. Wish the 1680V2 wasn't such a hothead though, even with water set to 10C it'll hit 95C very quickly in things like y-cruncher VT3.

Then again, 1.45V doesn't help either.

Have you seen those nice radiators?

I've had 2 connected for a decent while - and worked quite great vs 360mm rad. *(didn't even need fans)

I have a Mo-RA3 420 on my main rig and if I was doing another external loop I'd just go with that, takes much less space than the external WC setup I have now.

R4BE and the Titans have found a spot in a spare Define 7 I had laying around, on the lookout for rads and a pump+res now.

I also had to build the board back to air cooling because it didn't fit. (plus that water cooling the R4BE VRM is ****ing pointless because it's not the VRM itself that gets hot, the doublers on the back do)

Heavily considering going back to no external rad on the main rig, because A. I don't game anymore and B. the 3x480 external WC upstairs takes a ungodly amount of space on the shelf compared to the MoRA3.

got a reasonable deal on some corsair xr5 360 rads (€90 including shipping) so the better retro rig build is a GO

(also bought a Arc A770)

lmao holy shit, STALKER Anomaly Custom works perfectly on my A770. Runs like shit though because I'm using 4090 quality options (I literally copied over my AC install from the main rig to the bench rig)

Low-key- expected Anomaly to completely shit itself when it sees 'intel Arc' but apparently it works just fine. Probably because it uses a updated/custom X-Ray Engine.

and that's the Better Retro Rig finished! Pics after I finish cleaning up the absolute mess that's our attic.
