I purchased an AMD Ryzen R7-5800U box from the official CWWK store on AliExpress about 18 months ago. The device worked perfectly for the first 12 months, but then it gradually began to freeze and lock up. I’ve tried different operating systems, memory, SSDs, and other hardware to rule out any issues, but everything points to a problem with either the motherboard or CPU.

Contacting CWWK has been an absolute nightmare. They don’t respond to chat messages on their website, and when they do reply after several days, the chat expires before anything is resolved, forcing you to start the process all over again. There’s no phone number available (understandable, as they’re based in China), and no email support either. I’ve even tried reaching out through AliExpress, but with no success.

The only time I’ve heard back from them, they insisted the issue was related to the thermal paste, despite the fact that the device freezes even when idle, running something as lightweight as OPNsense. I’ve already replaced the thermal paste just to be thorough, but the issue persists. There’s simply nothing left to try, and their support has been utterly unhelpful. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

I've managed to get their contact details via aliexpress, got a contact number, skype account and whatsapp. I've contacted them via whatsapp and got a reply, the person is passing the details to their technical team, so let's see if this goes anywhere.

They USUALLY respond if you try to contact them via the chat on the website, and if you close it, you get an email.
I have no idea what were you doing, but my experience is a lot better. Not so much with their understanding of english, but generally they seemed as good as it gets given the circumstances.

Well, i have the opposite experience.

Every time i contacted on the web chat they always responded in approx 24h, sometimes even less (due to timezone probably). I had issues with hardware and commercial: a dead board that got replaced for free (and upgraded), issues with a dev board and after talking technically they sent me a beta bios to evaluate (that fixed the issue), and a partial refund for a wrong case color they sent.

In comparison i had much worse experience with asus lg and xiaomi, so..
