idle should go down to all cores @800mhz
I have in Windows High Power Mode for testing Cinebench, CPU-Z and AIDA64.
But yes, if is set default Normal Mode clocks go down to 800Mhz.
I'd rather add it to the post so it doesn't confuse anyone.

never done this because windows gets more time too.anyway.

if all cores are @800 please sensors, package power :p
Lol :D You're testing me. ;) I would like to. But I can't. I have already disassembled all the components and already packed the processor this afternoon so that I can send it back to you next week.
But I can confirm that you received a piece from Kizune that work fine.
And because not work in your ASUS W790 and in my GIGABYTE C741 yes, so it is somehow blocked on 100% via ASUS W790.
So it looks like that with ASUS W790 work only D0 and retail W pieces.

BTW after 2 months the postal service recovered and returned the original envelope I sent to Germany so if you want your own specimen of the sample now I have it back and can send it to you. Just ping me in DM if you want it.
