You mean support spr e0 step? what about e1 e2 or e3?
I wrote to them in this style.
Does the motherboard's X13 support ES processors? they told me it doesn't support.
Maybe I wrote it wrong,I also didn’t understand their answer because many in this thread have ES cpu and they work great

i expected that answer:
if you run ES and have issues, supermicro does NOT support you.
intel provides no support for ES after lauch of processor series.
all who got ES official from intel can request QS for free.

if they would say yes you may ask for help on issues.
And no motherboard manufacturer will help you with problems with an eng.sample.
QYFQ on X13SEI-F (only BIOS 1.0)
supermicro removed microcode and actively block non E stepping ES)
( we see on gigabyte motherboards this is not required )

the D0s can do DMI4 and are hermaphrodites.
but you can set the DMI speed of W790 lower if you want, some just don't want it to run.
( with ASUS W790 Ace i tried set DMI to 3 and tested SPR-SP E3 stepping QS - not work )
I love my hermaphrodite.

Do you have any information about SPR MCC ES R0 (806F3), how bad are they? are they also hermaphrodite?
unfortunaly i sold my ASUS W790 before i could test em.
i have two:

Q075 R0 20C 1.7 - 2.7 - 3.8Ghz 165W ( similar to silver 4416+ )
