none. QS and SKL prod.units are cheap and ES not cheap enough to take the disadvantages.Thanks. Since i'm new to ES world how can i know which ES cpu's to buy ?.
Ok thanks . Btw that QS would work without needing to downgrade bios since its basically a retail chip :?none. QS and SKL prod.units are cheap and ES not cheap enough to take the disadvantages.
i.e. QNFC is Gold 6130 QS(does not display type) you can get it for $180 usd, runs on ALL boards.
at the moment i sell two Gold 5120 QS, 340 EUR for both, and so on.
QS is same stepping, just ES bit set to prevent be sold as CPU with warranty.Ok thanks . Btw that QS would work without needing to downgrade bios since its basically a retail chip :?
Appreciate for clear and fast responses Btw is there any similar alternative (qs that without displaying model) to an 6130 ?QS is same stepping, just ES bit set to prevent be sold as CPU with warranty.
i.e. a Skylake QS works on ALL BIOS. for Cascade Lake QS you need BIOS for 2nd Gen Scalables, this still supports SKL QS.
a mystery ? i love something like that. should we guess what YOU want?Btw is there any similar alternative (qs that without displaying model) to an 6130 ?
Sorry english isn't my native language, what i've meant by that is there any alternative to this QS(one that's supported by all motherboards) but only as a silver or platinum. Also for a such a good price as QNFC xeon golda mystery ? i love something like that. should we guess what YOU want?
whats wrong with this Gold ? there are not much silver QS, if there more expensive.Sorry english isn't my native language, what i've meant by that is there any alternative to this QS(one that's supported by all motherboards) but only as a silver or platinum. Also for a such a good price as QNFC xeon gold
Thanks. That gold is fine i was just asking out of curiousity , really thankfull for giving me a helpwhats wrong with this Gold ? there are not much silver QS, if there more expensive.
the price will get higher on platinum. maybe the Plat. 8124M.
sorry, but best yould be you sell the T7820 and get a motherboard with ES support.
if platinum existed at this price i would have told you. actualy the Platinum 8175M 24 Core os sold for 240 EUR, but that is too expensive for you right ?Sorry english isn't my native language, what i've meant by that is there any alternative to this QS(one that's supported by all motherboards) but only as a silver or platinum. Also for a such a good price as QNFC xeon gold
correct. for supermicro there is only the X12DPi that support ES1 with BIOS 1.x. AFAIK all other X12 supports ES1 with BIOS 1.0, downgrade is not possible over IPMI so you have to replace the BIOS chip.Came across an Intel QU99 ES1 LGA4189 CPU. Don't have a LGA4189 motherboard at the moment, but was curious if anyone knows a motherboard that supports these ES1 CPUs? From previous comments, it appears that ASRock or Gigabyte might work? Can anyone confirm?
i got same boards. this is first rev. with only skylake BIOS. the later rev. C2030(cerberus) supports Cascade Lake, maybe we can use the C2030 BIOS. mine has two different BIOS.Edit: oh I noticed there's two BIOS chips, #0 and #1 (and also BMC FLASH). Do you think it's just a backup, or should I dump both?
at non AVX yes, QNFC is 6130 QS but no display of model. The Xeon Gold 6130 release shows it doing 2800 all core, any idea if this is the same with the QNFC version.
QQ8MTHe Xeon Gold 5218 release shows it also doing 2800 but higher on both AVX's, wondering if that is same with the QQ8M version.
a rare platinum B1 ES. you will not see it anywhere.also what chip is the QLKH
QQ8A, 14 ores but higher base clock.better cpu options than the Intel Xeon Gold 5218 ES QQ8M or the Intel Xeon Gold 6130 ES QNFC.
Mt. Olympus C2012 (15061-1A) connected with a custom cable 2x EPS -> 12V Power in (24Pin proprietäry)I have just bought a Project Olympus Microsoft board, presumably from Azure. From asking around on reddit it appears that these boards are fine with ES CPUs? Can anyone here confirm?
MS C2012 supports 240W CPU and Skylake B0 ES, Skylake B1 ES works too(should support P-8124 / P-8136)I have just bought a Project Olympus Microsoft board, presumably from Azure. From asking around on reddit it appears that these boards are fine with ES CPUs? Can anyone here confirm?
no show(model) means: you see in BIOS or CPU-Z / Devicemanager "Genuine Intel 0000 @ __" instead of "Intel Core i7-9700k____"Some desriptions say "no show" which i guess means no igpu?
