    Hello sth people!
That's my first post here. :)

I am looking to replace my R710 and because I need single core power, I want Xeon E2186G or E2176G.
Right now my only option is Dell Precision 3930 which is not server OS supported by Dell.

Does anyone know when the 3 big brands will release this server platform?
I have the info about Dell R240 in early 2019.

Problem is that I need the new hardware this year.

    Any help is appreciated.

The new G parts are out, but you are right, not in servers. My sense is that you will see servers by late this year.

Intel still needs to release the 8-core consumer parts before we see the 8-core Xeon E-2100 series, but I would not expect an extreme lag. I have an idea of the week and Intel usually launches server platforms alongside its server chips.
