It never costed 270$ . They giving 200 discount thats it.
Got refurbished ACE instead of sage was only missing original package for 400 on ebay. Plastics on the radiators not even be off.
Xeon Platinum 8480 ES QYFS got from chinese retailers. Rams was hard to get in eastern europe 2x Kingston 16GB DDR5-6000MT/S ECC REG CL32/DIMM FURY RENEGADE PRO XMP (costed 220 eur) will be getting more sticks later this year. Motherboard massive, only fit to my old xeon phi workstation case. Cpu cooled by 3 ventilators mounted on enermax water radiator. Thinked it wont be enough so now total 3 pulling air and additional 3 pushing. Enermax sent me refurbished water system they replaced liquid with distiled water. So far so good. Took me year to make the workstation. Now waiting on PNY RTX 4090 video card to drop price. Its lower power card so not need to worry about melting wires.

Oh my god! This must be cheapest performance vs value offering in ages. Cheap ES cpus, Feature rich motherboards, especially ASUS SAGE, and in my opinion pretty good performance with DDR5 and PCI-E support. $200 for this motherboard is mind boggling. I understand they are dead end but this performance/price will not be met for several years. I don't think we will see such cheap ES CPUs anytime soon or ever again.

I bought one Asrock for $400 and I thought it was a good deal. Not to mention about the $900 I paid for used ASUS Sage with broken PCI-E tabs.

This thread is pissing me off :) I cannot believe how I missed the Asus deal.

us only, but some use parcel forwarders.
they restocked at least two times with same low price, you could be reminded(email) which not worked for me but they may don't like german mail addresses.
