I checked the site a few times last week, never seen it in stock :( I also set up the e-mail notification, not sure why I never had a chance. Honestly, never thought they would stock it with that price.

I have 2 of them but at that price, I would buy another one. These will easily sell $700+ on the secondary market if not more.

Mine arrived Friday. I was in the same state as the warehouse. Waiting of 56 core ES processor to come from China and 128gb Kingston Memory to come from Australia.

Intel Xeon Platinum 8480+ ES QYFS
Ordered at $360 with tax. Actually cheaper than my 64-core Milan processor. I just followed JosefHrib post:

If you don't use ebay to use China's local trading platform can save about 150usd, this is probably what we call "foreigner tax".

BTW which RAM from Australia did you buy?

Can you explain the "ebay to use China Local trading platform." You caught my attention on that one.
For memory, it's actually coming from United Kingdom. I bought two on Amazon for 190 each and I think after that, the price went up to 372. I would have thought it would make sense for Amazon to ship two kits from here but oh well. I take the lowest price I can get.

taobao usually. you need an agent to order the stuff then ship it to you.

FYI the Kingston Fury Renegade Pro 6000MT/s 32gb sticks are 131 on newegg.

Its not always the case tho, probably used items and non retail ones sure, but for me sales in the US beats pricing pretty much anywhere else. But i will look it up there.

I mean Taobao and Xianyu these 2 apps, Taobao is more like the Chinese version of amazon and Xianyu is more like the Chinese version of ebay. If you want to check and buy things in these 2 apps, like meathammer710 said, you need to find an agent or a local Chinese who is willing to help. The prices of ES cpu are much cheaper than ebay.

Non zero chance. As long as the seller has a lot of sales with good ratings and you read the reviews you should be fine. I have bought loads of stuff from Taobao even a 3960X and a TRX40 those worked well. I had one bad experience with a used HDD (only bought it for non crucial CCTV recordings) it was shipped as a WD Purple with a WD Purple sticker but it wasnt, the seller did refund me the money ONLY after i showed him a video of me destroying the HDD LOL (i send one with me submerging it in water and no it wasnt good enough for him, i had to whip out a hammer and a drill LUL). But i have bought some other stuff as well without any issues.

My opinion is 3-5%. Unlike the opinion of the user above, especially with the xianyu app, it's still possible to buy a faulty product. It's very easy to return the product if you are in mainland China, just like Amazon, but I believe most of the users here are not in mainland China.
