I order a new motherboard (same model) from Amazon. I hope no problems with the new....
Your board is black, right? Mine is new one, purple. So it can easily be some fundamental flaw in all of them, unfortunately. Also waiting for new one from "official" site. Amazon is still same Chinese marketplace, so no difference (return might be easier)

yes, my board is black.

im waiting for new one from amazon (black) if work, perfect, if have the same error, return.

The problem is the cwwk chat, horrible, slow and they don't give me any solution.

First if software problems, then the ram memory....etc.

Damn, it's a low-power CPU already, we are talking about what? 3 W of power with C10 state vs 8 or 6 or whatever the boards hit by default? and that if the system is idle, The time you are wasting on this, returning and ordering boards, is more valuable than the amount of money you spend on that extra 3W of power...
Did you try a stock Debian?

You gonna be kidding. Why would someone try debian if the plan is to have unRAID server?! It is not 3w, but 6-8w, so about 25% and ~ €30/year. Why would user who already paid €260 pay additional €30/year to just make it work stable?! No man, broken products has to be returned to manufacturers to hold them accountable

My unraid server always freezes, it doesn't matter the state C

Freezes with aspm on ? or off ?
just curious, what's the power reported by s-tui summaries in idle ? Can you test ?

The same issues happens with SystemRescueCD and Proxmox 8.2 (which is stock Debian with modern kernel). So no, this is not a linux problem.

Another board arrived. This time ordered directly at cwwk.net where it is slightly cheaper that on Aliexpress and surprisingly come without import taxes (EU/NL). Arrived in a different box, include correct bolts and back panel. There is some signs it might be a used one (mounting holes stripped just a tiny bit, dust everywhere, etc), not a big deal. Old BIOS installed, upgraded to the latest one. This time installed with Thermalright AXP90-X36, can recommend, somewhat better, better contact with copper plate, radiator fins rotated 90 compared to Jonsbo one (better for N2 case), but still touches caps unfortunately.

Bad part - same issues as before, no changes. Sad.
Ctrl+F1 in BIOS enable a ton of Advanced hidded options, one of the usable ones - you can disable onboard audio.

@asychev presume your board is the original CWWK black one with JMB585 SATA controller?

I have this board and was asking few pages about booting with C-states enabled. I was not able to succeed with c-states enabled (i.e. BIOS optimized defaults settings + only change from that enabled only c-states (and all default c-states options thereon)) regardless of whether I tried booting Unraid, Proxmox (stuck at loading initial ramdisk), Debian live image etc...none of them booted through.

After some trial and error it boots with c-states enabled with max c-state set to C6 (as opposed to C8, C9, C10, or 'auto' or 'cpu defaults' - none of those options booted up). Also, no issues with c-states disabled of course.

This may be due to SATA controller according to some of the members on here - if you have a chance, are you able to try this without any drive on JMB585 and report back on how it response to various C-states then? My board is remote and won't get a chance to visit / test this until December.

No, purple with ASM1166
Ah, okay. So with the black board with JMB585, I also get 'hci_hcd0000:00:0d.0: PCI post-resume error -19!' with Unraid (and 'stuck at loading initial ramdisk' if using Proxmox), but as mentioned, it works with c-states if I set max c-state to C6.

My purple N100 is still rock solid. Currently at 20 days of uptime and I have the board for roughly 2 months now. Running 2 NVMEs, 5x Seagate Exos X20 18TB. Using a pico psu 160w with a meanwell 200W brick.

do yo know the settings in bios to put the c-state to c6?
