Today at some stage of the installation there was internet for a while, but when I rollback to 1.6 the internet stopped working
you confused the BIOS/BMC, possibly MAC addresses lost.
(same if you flash the BMC with programmer externaly)

I had a similar situation with motherboard a few months ago X99-F8
I downloaded a mod BIOS from this and flashed it through the fpt, after which the Internet did not work
I reflashed it to the original one and everything worked

OK you see those MACs in your router/DHCP server,
on my HP Z640 workstation
when I enter the command arp -a in CMD the mac address is displayed exactly the same as in Bios
on X12SPL ,but when the system goes up for some reason the Internet controller is not visible

MAC mismatch issue. your AFu try could have caused something.
supermicro X12 BIOS is digitaly signed/protected. no way to change even one bit.
but for that reason some data is stored in other chip.

Yeah, Yeah.Yeah, SOLVED!!!
the Internet finally started working.
Here's what I did: disconnect the power from the motherboard, take out the battery, and a screwdriver to close between the contacts

Thank you very much
Best Regards
