I don't own these SODIMMs (yet) but I tested another DDR4 ECC SODIMM in the SODIMM to DIMM Adapters you can buy from AliExpress for around $5 in a TX1320 M3 and it made it through 4 passes of Memtest86+ without error, ECC enabled:Has anyone used those with Dimm-to-sodimm adapters? Price is really good for an unbuffered DDR4 module from this density. A full size module is easily $80+
You cannot mix these adapters with normal DIMMs (tried that before and it doesn't work due to mismatched trace lengths) but it should work if you only installed SODIMMs in the adapters. The adapter does make the memory module taller than 1U can accommodate.
Keep in mind Skylake won't work with 32GB UDIMMs
So anyone who bought these and can't use them because they wouldn't POST, you should be able to use them in a desktop system as ECC UDIMMs.
Edit: also passed memtest in the Gigabyte MC12-LE0 with a Ryzen 5 5600, so it should be fine for both Intel/AMD.
Again, these tests were performed with a different ECC SODIMM. This is just to show that SODIMM->DIMM adapters work.
