Exceptional deal for those looking for ECC SODIMMs which are kind of niche, Crucial currently has them for $104. I use an Innodisk model (the chips looks identical to the ones on this) in my Precision 3240 Compact workstations that have Xeons and can make use of ECC. Sometimes these work on non-ECC machines and sometimes they don't, I haven't tested extensively enough across different models.

This is correct, I have 2x8GB DDR3 ECC DIMMs in my parents their ThinkCentre and they work just fine, just without ECC.

Appreciate the tip! I need 4 myself for a couple projects they've been on hold till I could find suitable RAM for a not-ludicrous price, and now it looks like they're back in play!

For laptops at least, the Xeon workstation laptops (lenovo made/makes em, not sure who else though) if looking for ECC, but otherwise anything that takes SODIMM (long as working without ECC is acceptable)

Has anyone used those with Dimm-to-sodimm adapters? Price is really good for an unbuffered DDR4 module from this density. A full size module is easily $80+

Febex just left my house now, that is quick shipping.

running memtest using a HP 800 G4 mini .
After testing , will move the sodimm to HP 800 G6 mini for deployment.

The desktop ECC UDIMM pricing is a b***ch. RDIMM are cheap.
I looked at my purchase history from amazon, a 16GB DDR4 ECC Udimm I bought about a year ago was $35. Now same product is up to $49.

Alas, these did not work in the HP T740. The machine wouldn't POST and the power button flashed/beeped 3-reds / 2-whites before falling silent. On the other hand, it worked in a HP EliteDesk 800 G4
