Anyone else having connection issues? Since my gigabyte pesh-2 is connected on 10gbit (2x x540) connection keeps dropping. Need to restart the server to get it up again, so think a board issue?
I would be interested in knowing more about this i do have one of these boards in one of my ESXi Hosts, but havent gotten the time to hook the switch into it as of yet... did you try swapping cables/firmware etc?

i've tried swapping ports. 14 and 16 where working (did run for 24hrs +), but got some issues again after trying something else. Also got problems getting connection back after removing cables. Don't have many cat7 to try with, most are too short. Do run controller 5.5.1, don't know if 5.4.8 is better?

There's a whole thread on problems with Intel 10GBase-T cards linked in the first post. Latest from UBNT is that they might have test firmware out to address this by end of February -- a slight improvement from their previous estimate of maybe Q1.

Frustrating that my Cisco 3M TwinAx cables won't work with this. Appears to be a firmware issue because when I reboot the switch my hosts auto-negotiate and come up at 10Gb, then shortly after they're back down once the switch is fully booted.

I am having trouble getting trunk port working. I created a trunk port on my dell 6224 and created a network with correct tagged vlan id's on ubiquiti. The trunk port on ubiquiti side is in blocked status. Any ideas to resolve it?

Picked one of these up as a favor for forum member @doup93 since he's in Canada and they wont ship there and didn't want to use a forwarded or try to play trickery w/ pymt info. I'll ship across the border when it arrives.

Very nice of you! I live in Hong Kong and I ordered one a few days ago by using a shipto service. Got refunded. What a pity!

Now to solve this riddle, I am logged in w/ my beta acct but sure as hell cannot find the controller sw, looking for the .deb based package for V5.4.6? Saw a link earlier in thread but it didn't work for me, gave me this garbage.

Go to the ubiquiti forums. In the switching and routing Beta page. There is a sticky with the links to the pre-release controller software.

So use the manual update procedure to update to the wanted firmware.
I have been running 5.5.0 for some time now, and found to run very well and stable in my env.
Waiting for the next 5.5.x as 5.5.1 does have some troublesome issues

Thank you very much for the help getting me the switch @whitey (and the X520-DA2's ;)). Can't wait to get all of these.

This forum is starting to get expensive for me.

Looks like it is dead. If someone wants to unload one give me a gingle. Sucker was $299 and checking out the final total doubled.
