You absolutely can. As far as I'm aware, it's the same EU-wide.

As a business, you can claim back import VAT the same way as you claim back VAT that you regularly paid (for goods / services from companies that are located in the same country as your business).

You have to differentiate between duties and import VAT.
You can't claim back duties. But there usually is 0% duty on electronics, so not relevant.

You can claim back import VAT. Import VAT rate is usually identical to the normal VAT rate.
I think I understand, I was lost in translation :)

So this: Supermicro MB MBDH12SSLiO Support AMD EPYC 7003 Milan/7002 Rome | eBay (US $543.99) is price with or without VAT? I'm confused. Also shipping to me would be US $65.88 :-(

Who cares if you're a business ?

99% of people on STH are retail guys who will be screwed by tax anyway

You really, REALLY try hard do NOT read and understand what was just discussed?!

It does NOT make sense to compare the $490 of the chinese board to a the 600€ of an H12SSL. You have to add tax to the chinese board (~540€ total) to compare it to the 600€ of the H12SSL.

This is course without VAT. You would have to pay import VAT once this enters your country.
