I couldn't upgrade the bios either but pcie bifurcation was already present in the version that came with it . Just in a weird place, it's in the IIO options, not in the pcie ones.Anyone get NVMe working on these at all? I can't get BIOS upgraded (presuming newer versions support PCIe bufurification my

IIO OverviewJust in a weird place, it's in the IIO options, not in the pcie ones.
I know but that's not where it normally is in sm boards that I've dealt with so far.IIO Overview
The purpose of the Integrated Input/Output controller (IIO) is to manage all the traffic between the PCI Express domain and the mesh domain
Original BIOS is OEM BIOS and can't be upgraded to standard BIOS. You either need the files from the OEM or you have to send the the boards to SM for an RMA to flash original BIOS on it. Some guys here can do that as wellI couldn't upgrade the bios either ....
I don't know if I understand you correctly, but most sellers I know accept moneyDid anyone found the sfp+ version of the risers for a price under an arm and a dick?
SSDs go to the backplane. and don't need 3.3V in any case.Anyone put an SSD in these yet?
You have an extra molex on the backplane (takes 3 and has 4 ran to it). Tap that for ghetto mounting ssds.Anyone put an SSD in these yet?
The voltage is wrong (no 3.3v) to use the spare 8 pin connectors on motherboard right?
One of these will work HP 654540-001 2.5" SSD to 3.5" SATA Adapter Tray Converter SAS HDD Bracket Bay | eBay but does it inpact performance with the 9361-8i?
How is the noise? I found another on ebay near me and I might grab it for the home lab, but I am very picky about noise.Received, great packaging pair of 2650v4 in the sockets.
For a 100€ delivered, great deal....
It's nosier than an average 2U . Even at lower speeds vs my huawei it's noisy. Not switch bad , but not great. How is the noise? I found another on ebay near me and I might grab it for the home lab, but I am very picky about noise.
Bummer. I might grab it anyway, it'll be about $120 with a couple 2690 v4s and figure out what to do with it. I love these chassis for GPU workloads. I have 3x GPUs in one in a colo and it performs great. It's nosier than an average 2U . Even at lower speeds vs my huawei it's noisy. Not switch bad , but not great.
Is that with fans as low as they'll go without the cpu overheating? Or is that on a Supermicro 'quiet' fan profile? It's nosier than an average 2U . Even at lower speeds vs my huawei it's noisy. Not switch bad , but not great.
It's with the fans as low as it needs to keep both my cpus from throttling. Is that with fans as low as they'll go without the cpu overheating? Or is that on a Supermicro 'quiet' fan profile?
