I saw these about two months ago for about $80 from one seller but were gone when I decided to but it. Since then I've only seen them around $180 when/if you find them.

This was listed today, seller accepted $105 for one.

And power consumption of the WX7100 is about twice that of the WX5100, the WX7100 is longer and requires a PCI-E connector.

There are applications where low power consumption and a compact size are a better fit.

I have ran my RX480 (=WX7100 with higher TDP and gaming drivers) on x8 for years and didn't notice any difference.

All GPU's are absolutely tanking in price. IMO I'd hold on to your cash and look at buying later. The mining glut is coming back with a tsunami of GPU's that seem to be hitting now.... plus with the regular ebb and flow of ordinary recycler stock.... I think these things could go lower.

I've got my eye on a Radeon W5500
