Pcie card to nvme passthrough compatible

Hello, I am looking for a pcie adapter (pcie3.0x16 physical slot and logical lanes) for 4 NVMe pcie x 3.0 M.2 that allow me to make a pcie passthrough under proxmox each NVMe to a different VM.
Anyone that can give me and advice about it is welcome.

PS: yes the MB can do pcie bifurcation.

lowest cost ? bifurcation.

you motherboard will need to support bifurcating that x16 into x4x4x4x4.

each m.2 nvme will appear to prox as a separate device and then you can pass them through.

there may be other considerations if this is a dual (or more) cpu motherboard.

basically look for any pcie 3.0 quad m.2 carrier board that requires bifurcation.

asus hyper m.2 x16 v2 comes to mind but there are more than a few now.

i have and use this adapter as well as the 2 port version, as well as their 2-port U.2 version. 10Gtek seems to know how to make adapters properly.
