Ok. Something quite odd is going on. I dont know if maybe someone can help me get in touch with Zen states dev or something.
I have stable 3.95Ghz on the 7351P on Asrock EPYCD8-2T as well as on HPe DL325 G10.
I use 1.356v for 3.95GHz and TDP goes anywhere between 215w o 250w depending on bench. Stable. I use CB, CPUz and some games to bench (GoW ragnarock, CP2077, Space Marines 2, Forza Horizon 5)
When I set it to 4Ghz. Normal tasks are fine but as soon as I try anything heavy, PC reboots. It just shoots up TDP to 300w+ even though its only a .05 increase in clock speed. Lowering or rasing voltages will give exact same result.
I set cTPD in bios at 285w and same thing happens. This is from a Stable 3.95Ghz. I'm so lost as to why TDP would shoot so high.
Anyone have an idea? My cooling is overkill. @3.95ghz my temps are 73c max (was lower days ago but I did a CPU swap and was too lazy to re apply fresh paste - I sometimes swap to a 64 core for work).
If we get across this, the 7351 could be a great 16 core performer at its dirt cheap price with simple OC
