if you ask Gigabyte they will tell you how and give you that Milan.RBU.I wasn't sure if it would brick the rev. 1 motherboard if i tried to flash a rev. 3 image.
Where can I get the latest BMC don't see it on MZ32-AR0 (rev. 3.0) | Server Motherboard - GIGABYTE Globalpersonaly i don't have done that.
you need to update the BMC FW to latest first, then update the BIOS with the BMC-WebGUI(at power off state)
the file you need is Milan.RBU (16mb) RBU = Remote BIOS Update)
the standard BIOS package includes only the image.RBU file (Rome 16mb + Milan 16mb=32mb)
the RBU file is the BIOS image and a special footer.

My MB doesn't have that sticker
it is a thing of BIOS and CPU. Rev 1-3 difference is the EPYC gen out of the BOX support (Factory Firmware)Also the Rev 3.0 has the U.2 ports listed as pcie Gen 4 vs the Gen 3 listed for the Rev 1.0. Is this "unlocked" by the new firmware?
this worked on some boards (depends on the initial BIOS)has anyone had luck with this? Can I simply first flash the v3.0 BMC firmware and then the v3.0 BIOS?
Not sure what you mean by the initial BIOS?this worked on some boards (depends on the initial BIOS)
if not use the linked package above and the Milan.RBU inside (flash with BMCWebGUI, host off)
do only if you want to run Milan.
some boards allow this some not.Not sure what you mean by the initial BIOS?
if you have a MIlan CPU you can try the image.RBU with BMCWebGUI.If I have the latest v1.0 BIOS from the site do you think that should that let me flash to the latest 3.0 version?
before you start:has anyone had luck with this? Can I simply first flash the v3.0 BMC firmware and then the v3.0 BIOS?
