What type of connector is this? I'd like to mod this with a Noctua 40mm fan to cool my HBA. Maybe a conversion cable exists.Hi It's 5V and supported fan speed control in bios.

I got another email a few days ago asking for my order number. Nothing since then, but it might be due to the Chinese New Year. Has anyone had any response from their tech support team in the past couple of days?I tried using a gmail.com email address and got a response in a few minutes. They had several things they wanted me to try which I had already done.
The size of hexagonal sud should be the same as the hexagonal stud connnection with a common screwdriver.all. I installed two 22110 SSD (micron 7400 pro) in my ms-01 but they are slightly bent due to the standoff at 80mm.
Did anyone run into this issue? I searched this thread unsuccessfully for this issue.
I tried removing the standoff with pliers, no success.
When I used Micron 7400 Pro (2280 though) in three MS-01 I had random problems with booting (would hang at boot, but not always), I had to replace them with something else. 3 tested MS-01, 4 tested 7400. The problem happened when they were plugged in, even when not used as boot drive or not in the first M.2 slot.I installed two 22110 SSD (micron 7400 pro) in my ms-01
Does anyone know how to get access to these pins? I'd like to use it for my 5v Noctua 140mm
There is nothing hexagonal about theseThe size of hexagonal sud should be the same as the hexagonal stud connnection with a common screwdriver.
It can be removed with a common multi-purpose screw driver.

Oh. You Means PCIE4.0x4 M.2. This not support 22110. You can saw spec. Only 2x22110 Supported. There is nothing hexagonal about these
looks loke they are soldered
I don’t feel comfortable unsoldering these.
Somewhat disappointing that these are not easily removable.
Apologies!Oh. You Means PCIE4.0x4 M.2. This not support 22110. You can saw spec. Only 2x22110 Supported.
Due to physical routing limitations. PCIE4.0x4 solt not support 22110..Apologies!
I now realize that two of the slots actually have hex standoffs.
Indeed the fastest slot does not have have a removeable standoff.
thus one of my ceph OSDs will go in the slowest slot.
my mistake.
Thanks.Due to physical routing limitations. PCIE4.0x4 solt not support 22110..
I have one one SFP transceiver from 10Gtek (https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B0BG55X2P9) that goes to my box via a short RJ45 cable ; then a DAC (https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B09Q5Y5ZD9) that goes to my LAN switch on the other port. It has been running proxmox wonderfuly for the past 4 months.I have a baremetal i5 version on order and am looking at what other components to buy. This thread is 95 pages long, so I have not read it all... but are there any recommended SFP+ 10Gbase-T that work well? I need two, one will connect to my Frontier ONT and the other into a Unifi Flex XG 10Gbe switch. Very short cable runs. Looking for low power (which I think is <2.5W now-a-days?) and multi-gig support (ie, just in case I want to plug in 2.5Gbe (or slower).
I will be running Proxmox on the MS-01 and a gateway/router in a VM on that.
Thanks.
TP-Link TL-SM5310-T is what I have in all of mine. A year on now with no failures and no issues. Doesn't seem to make any meaningful impact on the power consumption of the MS-01.I have a baremetal i5 version on order and am looking at what other components to buy. Did you have to install any drivers (such as for the built-in 10GbE and 2.5GbE interfaces) to get ESXi 6.7 to work on the MS-01? Or does the generic ESXi 6.7 install recognize the MS-01 hardware? No problems what so ever with the 10gb nics and esxi 6.7 here.. im melting the box since yesterday night with test copies from lan just to see if it will crash and its rock solid.
What about this DDR5-6400 Kit? I'm not familiar with CSODIMM, but it appears to be same but faster.I ordered a kit and it arrives tomorrow.
