@Glock24 , no big loss that you missed the deal.

I purchased 4 SM863 SSD from the same seller.
3 out of 4 SSD have problems with slow write performance ( 161 MB/s , same speed as a HD ).
I tried using Samsung DCT tools to secure erase it , double checked SSD is connected in SATA 3 mode.
Tried with few other computers.

3 SSD still stuck with very slow write performance , only one SSD is performing normal.
All 4 SM863 had the same firmware GB32.
Returned all 4 SSD and received full refund yesterday.

I been using few PM953 960gb nvme SSD for the past 3-4 years, paid between $65 to $110 each.
I am happy with the PM953 SSD, so picked up 2 more at $45 each from the ebay links above.
What's the health left reported by SMART on the slow ones?

I think it is 100% , although I am not 100% sure.
I checked usage and it did not raise any red flag.
I did not save a screen capture.

Whoa! So you changed your mind? I was curious about what percentage of good drives you would get. In any case, better safe than sorry.
Yeah, I was having second thoughts before @Marsh shared and I connected the dots between the (4) that were added to the listing yesterday after I bought 16.

If these new 5100 ECOs were closer to $50, I'd opt for 20 of them, but going to hold out for better value still. All it takes is one solid liquidation (heh) to change the playing field.
I think it's high time we start demanding that sellers who sell these things post some form of health stat. If you sell hard drives, you gotta be able to show some form of basic SMART test in my opinion. I suppose they won't bother, because if you're unhappy with the drive, you always have the option to return.
It seems like a reasonable request, but I think the flippers can't be flipped to test, record, and share the stats of each individual drive. Even posting a collection of samples seems like a no-win as it creates expectations. Mystery bargains can be more intriguing.

my buyer's offer of 5100eco was accepted on 60 each for 2. i think 50 each is hard to get.

Seller finally got back to me. The "combined shipping" invoice is $8 more than if I had just paid immediately.

Just for the record.
I went with 6 x PM953 nvme 960gb @ 40 each free shipping.

Each PM953
4 years of power on hours , read ~ 250TB , write 15-20TB , should have plenty of life left.

For $35 any 800GB enterprise SSD will do, even if they are at 50% health they'll have more endurance than any 1TB consumer drive.
Has anyone tried these 480GB 'bakers choice' from Unixsurplus? $19.00 before best offer.

Mine arrived today and Fed Ex delivered it to a house 2 blocks away.

Fortunately they brought it to me. :)

It's a Intel S3500. Health is 46% and it has about 50,000 hours on it.

There's a reason these are so cheap.
