hmm i just got a couple of Intel Xeon E5 2630L QEYX V3 cpus and two sticks of Samsung M393A2G40DB1-CPb0q ram and cant get the server to post.
I get a warning and psu leds blinking

Compatibility issue ? any ideas ?

Did you tried it with one CPU? Or test ist with just one cpu and no Ram if you don´t get anny beep codes you coud have a CPU related problem.

I hade my unit running with E5-2620v3 and E5-2640V4 (Retail Chips though)

Intel mainboards are very picky when it comes to es cpus, try a "normal" cpu.

yes, have only two cpus for two systems did try it also without ram and did a bios reset aswell, the psu fans spin a bit and i do get a green warning but after a min or so it stops and psu leds are blinking.Asumed at first i botched the ram/ cpu installation

I ordered the same es processors and I am still waiting for them to arrive and test but the seller did say that this servers work with ES processors...

I have run similar boards with M0 (es2) cpus just fine too.

did install two of those cpus in one system with two sticks of ram, now im getting a green blinking warn sign

when i turn on power the fans spin for a sec and thats it; might also be a ram issue

It might be a good idea to check the technical manual as to what the error codes mean exactly.

Can you login to IPMI to check the logs? That might help

Cant, it doesnt really power on. When i plug in the cables the psu fans spin for a sec, the system shows a green system led and blue sys id, only bouth psu leds are blinking. When i power up, psu fans spin for a sec and no error codes the system doesnt even POST.
So i assume non working or non compatible cpus.

Kinda wierd tho,although i dont have any experience with Intel systems usually when i have a non compatible cpu in a HP you get the post error. But those are retail never tryed it with ES

will be clear once SIlviu trys them also

what do you mean ? the error codes ? the issue im having is that the board doesnt start at all, when i press the power on the psu fans spin for a bit and thats it. As if no power to the board hence no error codes

The server starts with no CPU ?
The manual says it should give you error code from BMC if CPU is missing.

Ok finally menaged to power one of the servers, with errors, need to figure out why the other oesnt

alright i did switch the cpus a bit, it seams one cpu doesnt even boot the server the other is with errors , i will try to find a retail cpu and test it again

Received mine today, it powers on but will not post, the diagnostic leds show 1101(amber) and 0011(green) this error is not mentioned in the manual...
Tried with one or two CPU`s, one RAM, changing RAM, reseting bios.

EDIT: The system beeps when no memory RAM is installed.

What processor and ram did you use? If you want we can troubleshoot together via Skype to get your server working. How did you receive your server today, it has been months?
