Recently I bought ZX-SWTGW218AS switch in China. Paid ~47 USD (330 CNY), shipping ~12 USD. Switch name was LIANGUO. Found it on 1688. It came with HW version 1.1 and FW version 1.3. Flashed it to 1.7 using firmware attached by someone in this topic, worked without problem. It seems like Horaco, Hasivo, Lianguo etc. are just brands but board inside is the same. Today I replaced old unmanaged 1Gbps switch, so far so good. I did some iperf3 tests, getting 2.37 Gbps, looks promising.

They appear to be different legal entities but the hardware designs are indeed often the same (but not all brands have all models/configurations). Whether they are all manufacturing the same reference design or whether another company is designing, manufacturing and assembling all the hardware is yet unclear. Either situation would allow for the crossflashing of firmware. It wouldn't surprise me if they all work with the same ODM or ODMs though. :)

The firmware itself is clearly based on a Realtek reference firmware in at least some of the switch models. I don't know about this exact one though.

On the server side - you can also add the -D parameter for each server instance to run it as daemon rather than interactive.

iperf3 -B 192.168.3.10 -s
iperf3 -B 192.168.3.11 -s

On the client side

iperf3 -B 192.168.3.7 -c 192.168.3.10 <other options>
iperf3 -B 192.168.3.8 -c 192.168.3.11 <other options>
Launched simultaneously

Looks good, at least as far as raw network performance. You should also test with -R on the client as the above is sending from the client to the server.

Everything is absolutely the same
I think we can finish testing here. The switch works well :)

Updated. Now it does not reset the default network settings to 192.168.2.1!!! And leaves the current settings :)

P.S.
Or have DHCP enabled by default?

This model is quite common, some companies buy the signs and label them with the brand. quite whimsical.
Here is a link to the manual
It would be nice if it had an openwrt firmware.

Upgraded my SKS3200M-8GPY1XF from 1.7 to 1.9 with the above firmware. Can confirm settings did not reset during upgrade.

Is there an accessible variant of these with POE? I have a need for one but also need to power two Unifi APs.

One model mentioned here via Taobao/Alibaba still doesn’t see widely available.

^^I think all of these fw's are exactly the same. Look at post 135 for the sodola one.

It probably pulls certain identifiers from nvram such as the model #. Something the firmware doesn't touch.
