H710 Mini not working ESXi 7.x

I have this card VMware Compatibility Guide - I/O Device Search Dell 6Gbps SAS HBA Adapter (think its been flashed with IT firmware if that matters) which seems to be having issues in ESXi 7.x . The device and its disks dont seem to be recognized. When I used the vanilla esxi image the card wouldnt even show in the pci device list on the web panel. With the latest dell customized imaged it does show.

Will another rebranded driver thats been updated to esxi 7.x work or something? If so how do you find what to use?

I have a box running with H710 mini on ESXi 7.0 (Dell custom) and it works just fine. But, my card is running the original firmware and not IT firmware.
Try restoring the original firmware to the card.
