Selling a Riverbed Steelhead branded Tyan B7106T70EV12HR server. Pictured with and without the bezel on. This server supports 12x 3.5" LFF Drives and also 2x 2.5" drives in the back. This server is barely used, it is very clean inside. The server was originally a Riverbed Steelhead branded CX-5080 (CXA-05080), which is a specialized server with limited BIOS/BMC, but has been flashed to the OEM BIOS/BMC so it can be used generically with any operating system and unlock its full potential.
This is the same scalable gen as a Dell R740 or HP/HPe DL380 Gen10. It uses Intel Scalable 1st or 2nd generation CPUs (205W TDP) and up to DDR4-2933 MHz ECC RDIMM/LRDIMM/DCPMM (Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory Module). This sever is currently cabled for 14 SATA drives (and the M.2 NVME), but the backplane supports SAS3 (12gbps) and 4x u.2 NVME drives.
This server has the following specs:
CPU: Dual Xeon Silver 4110 (8c/16t each)
RAM: 32GB DDR4-2666 ECC RDIMM
SSD: 64GB M.2 SSD
HDD: No drives, but all trays for the 12x 3.5 LFF and 2x 2.5" bays
NIC: Dual onboard 1G NIC with 4x1G PCIe NIC (Intel i350)
BMC: Dedicated RJ-45 connection for BMC/IPMI management (remote KVM, firmware updates, etc.)
Accessories: Drive trays and front bezel
