Might be about time to fire the miners back up for some free heat. :)

i moved to florida so heat isnt an issue. electricity and AC costs are haha.

I really want to move to new hardware(dell r740xd etc) but cant until i sell some of the stuff i have now.
Once this sells i still have an intel 2u dual e5-2600v2 system, dell r720 dual 25-2600v2 and an intel 4u dual e5-2600 v2 system to sell. but cant move on the other server until i get a new one in place.

So someone get the ball running and buy my stuff haha.

That does sound way more sensible than my 'buy new first, then get rid of old stuff' approach ;)

Easier said then done. Anyhow, I'm backing up all my stuff to external hard drive and trying to consolidate down so I can inventory what to sell.

Hard part is idk how much better upgrading from e5-2600v2 to e5-2600v4 hardware gets me. Preferably I like to get scalable Xeon gold based system, but I think to replace 2 systems running e5-2600v2 I'll need a higher end gold 6xxx dual system and at least 256gb ram so probably around 10k.
