Thank you for the reply.
I've realized that the hack only work for V3's QS and retail products.
I feel very lucky about it since I've collected some QS samples recently

I'm gonna have a test with 2697 v3,2695 v3, and 4627 v3 QS samples.
I've already confirmed that 4655 v3 QS can go up to 3.2 GHz.

I've had some research and found out those results.
2697 v3 (14c 28t) can go up to 3.4GHz and 2695 v3 (14c 28t) can go up to 3.2GHz for all core turbo.
I've gotten them for $350 and $340 each last week.

I wonder how much they are faster than 1660v3 qs @ 4.5GHz for rendering.

Nice homework! May have to hock my spare sr1xk e5-2696 v3 and pick up some 2697 v3! Make a tidy 6-700 $ profit too..managed to snag my 3 for 780 a piece last year. For a backup server xtra rendering node..don't really need 18 cores..but needing to find monies for 30-40 tb of hdds..
Good one!
Now if i could only get hack to work on my old sandy bridge e5-2665 b0's..soon back in service as emergency workstation..

Awesome 2696 v3 xD
I'd love to have 2696 v3 but my budget won't let me... lol

And yeah, if that was possible, I would've kept my x79board!

Well put up my 2x e5-2665 v1 b0 + z9ped8 ws + 64gb corsair ram for like..800 bucks last year. And noone would touch it as threadripper came out. So keeping it for cabin in the mountains pc. Even put out my sr1xk e5-2696 v3 for around 10000 nok or 1200 usd..again due to threadripper no dice (remember including 25% sales tax). So then i gave up..lol...
Wow hope threadripper fanbois suffer some horrible untimely death...
No not really! AMD keeps intel honest (wow I hope, unlike RAM manufacturers!) Just extremely bad timing on my part purchasing sr1xk last june (or not! doubled in value!)..but then and there, that xtra cpu was supposed to pay for my upgrade..still sitting here...may eventually part with it, while the going's good. Unfortunately due to dead mobo, can't post any specs or proof of life..hopefully fixed before long (3xbios chip on way and bios chip flasher already here)..maybe able to salvage something out of debacle yet..hoping no mobo replacement! Just another cough cough 4500 nok or usd 553!

2697 v3 @ 3.5GHz!

Intel Xeon E5 2697 v3 @ 3505.45 MHz - CPU-Z VALIDATOR

==========Additional Info========== 2018-05-12

TDP is unlockable by Intel XTU
(only for TDP. other settings lock the multiplier back. You'll have to reboot the system)

For Rampage V Extreme

Vcore offset -0.070v
Cache offset -0.050v
Agent offset -0.050v

Vcore LLC Level 6

VR settings are auto

The result is that multiplier x35 can hold on load.
Linx 0.9.2 gets x32 multiplier. The temperature is around 82C.

Nice one! Waiting for a stack of bios chips before trying it tho..only just recently recovered wiped bios chip with an ebay bios flasher. The anandtech thread is looong and not exactly straightforward. At the moment can settle for stock, stable running system.

Wow now that have that bios chip flasher..have to wonder..can it be done using that instead of the incredibly complicated and risky way detailed in the anandtech forum? Wow if so..and of course someone donates working bios!..that would rock! Ideas? Have now 3 bios chips, my ebayers at from the Netherlands finally came through (well 2 weeks from Netherlands to Norway, but Customs took their time..whaddya expect? small package from the Netherlands, of course they'll think it's drugs or something!)..but yeah finally have 3x bios chips to muck around with here! And a chip flasher! Maybe I'll grow some cojones and just go for it? All-turbo with 2x e5-2696 v3? What could go wrong?

Note on an ASrock rack ep2c612 ws board, with 2x cpu's...so yeah threadrippers! Get BENT!

Kijin93, 2x stock e5-2696 v3 with basic h80i aio watercooling, I think get around between 42-4400 in cinebencgh R15..thereabouts. Seen a fair few on hwbot getting around 5200+ with same setup using the microcode hack. For Adobe for sure, would be good to get the all-turbo running! For other apps like VRay etc..well stability is probably more important (lol! in Maya and so on, still render per frame etc in case it crashes!)..but there ya go! (wow how can maya and max STILL be so buggy?? chrissakes!!)..

Still supercool! May have to hang on to those sr1xk's despite temptation to sell (absurd ebay prices now, around 14-1900 usd!). Whatever you can do to contribute to the knowledge also, much appreciated! Well done bruv! Fully sick eh!

There's a dual xeon board called the "B810" on taobao, but there doesn't seem to be much information about it anywhere.

I have this processor laying around and i was wondering if anyone had any more info on it. I checked the list of Xeon V3 processors Nathan P posted and found a processor that he has no information about.

I was wondering if anyone had any more info on this than i have and if anyone had any idea as to what kind of motherboard would support this processor.

Its QDBW - 14 core processor clocked at 2.1Ghz.

Thanks!

@squidman,

Funny you should mention the dead E5 2696v3's. You got rooked by this auction, didn't you? I purchased the last one of that auction. I originally tried to purchase all 10 with a Best Offer, but thankfully he didn't answer in time. These are definitely bad chips. I left an eBay review, and I have had 2 other people contact me because of it. Even though they are listed "as-is", the potential buyer is left with the impression that if you own the right system, these will work for you. Umm, no I don't think so. It wouldn't matter what system you owned, unless you were Intel themselves. My motherboards "are" compatible with that stepping. I have since asked for a refund based on the ambiguity of the auction (i.e. "I'm selling these AS-IS (but here's why you should have confidence in purchasing these from me!)"). I am not convinced that the seller doesn't know more than we were told.
Well, my first message here. Registered for this..

I did buy pair of these. I have tried them one by one on my Z10PE-D16 WS. With 4 sicks of RAM and with single stick. Always stops at Q-code "b0".

I'm going to try both of them together, different bios, etc.. but at the moment it doesn't look good..

Any Ideas? Thoughts? Advice?

For background info. I Have been running my Z10PE-D16 WS for a year now with single E5-2620v4 ES, so it's a working setup.

B0 is RAM related issue code.
After you are sure the RAM itself is compatible and working , then check your CPU socket pins .

I have tried with 3 different 16gb dimms. All pins are straight. All RAM sticks work perfectly with previous processor in same set.
