Hello, I have an EPYC Milan ES ( 100-000000114-09 )and ROMED8-2T.
I set up the Milan ES and tried bios 3.4 and 3.2, but DR DEBUG showed 00 and I could not post.
If anyone knows of a bios that works with Milan ES, please let me know.
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your reply
I currently have the 7402P on and it is working fine with bios 3.2.
Is there a big possibility that this milan ES is broken?

I asked the sellers but they apologized for not being familiar with it. I searched for information and found a similar case on this forum, so I am writing to you.
Thanks for your kind advice.

you should try with H12SSL-i with BIOS 2.0
MIlanPi 1.0.0.1 , microcode genesis A0 is there.

Thanks for the information!
I've been looking into the H12SSL bios for a while now, but I couldn't find any information about it working with 2.0, so this is very helpful!
I've been on 2.4 since I bought it and supermicro says that if you update to 2.1 or higher, you can't roll back to before 2.1. Besides, it appears that they don't release bios prior to 2.5.
I will ask supermicro and the place I purchased it from if there is any way to roll back to 2.0.

Thanks to your help, I was able to obtain 2.1 and 2.0.
First I tried updating 2.0 with BMC, but it warned me that it could not be rolled back, so I put in 2.1. 2.1 could not POST milanES, so I tried 2.0 with UEFISHELL, but at the last minute I got an image warning and could not downgrade. I could not downgrade.
I will ask Supermicro if there is any way to downgrade to 2.0.
Your kind advice has helped me a lot in troubleshooting. Thank you very much!

so I tried 2.0 with UEFISHELL, but at the last minute I got an image warning and could not downgrade. I could not downgrade.
EFI tool can not access the BIOS on this platforms, it just uploads the BIOS file to the BMC and let em do the job.
I will ask Supermicro if there is any way to downgrade to 2.0.
only by replace of the BIOS chip with preprogrammed with 2.0

In the end, we did not send the H12SSL to Asrock, but bought a used mz32-ar0 rev1 and are trying to see if Milan ES will work. After gathering information, it seems that the bios containing milanpi 1.0.0.1 that you mentioned is in MZ62, but I could not find it in mz32-ar0.
Asrock, like Super Micro, has not released any bios other than the two most recent ones, so I'm stuck in a situation.
If you know of any bios that will work with Milan ES, please let me know ❓Thank you in advance.

if you run Rome you see RomePi not MilanPi
you need to run Rome/Milan BIOS, you have probably Naples/Rome BIOS now.
here is a BIOS for MZ32-AR0 MIlanPi 1.0.0.4 and Milan step. A0 microcode.
MZ32-AR0 rev.1.0 and 3.0 are same except Firmware.

note: use this link above, not the links from replies, they are not updated if i change it here.

MZ32-AR0 rev.1.0 can upgraded to 3.0
update BMC first to latest,
but Gigabyte can help you too.

Thank you for your response! The file did not seem to be in the link. If you don't mind, could you upload it again?

The BMC did not pass the PASS that was attached to it, and when I checked with the seller, they told me to reset it. I will talk to GIGABYTE about resetting it first.

I have tried several times, including changing browsers, but I keep getting an error message that the file cannot be found.

I'm trying to access it from here, but no matter how many times I try, I keep getting an image error.

If you don't mind, could you please send them to my e-mail address, so that I can send them to you.
