It looks like Intel has announced the Broadwell E3 chips, and it's a very limited selection.
Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1285L v4 (6M Cache, 3.40 GHz) 65 W P6300
Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1285 v4 (6M Cache, 3.50 GHz) 95 W P6300
Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1278L v4 (6M Cache, 2.00 GHz) 47 W P6300 EMBEDDED
Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1265L v4 (6M Cache, 2.30 GHz) 35 W P6300
Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1258L v4 (6M Cache, 1.80 GHz) 47 W P5700 EMBEDDED
I tend to lean towards the 1230 processors. Decent core count, hyperthreading, and cheap. It doesn't look like there's a E3 v4 1230. Is this normal? Should I just keep waiting? Or should I go looking for a couple of E3-1230v3 processors to fill out my rack?
