MCX354A brackets should work with the 314A's... I've got several of these coming so should be able to confirm in a week or two...Anyone willing to swap a standard profile bracket for a low profile one?
I can probably send you one. Got them today.Anyone willing to swap a standard profile bracket for a low profile one?
I just updated the firmware on one and it shows up as a pro:
[root@esx-3:/opt/mellanox/bin] ./mlxfwmanager --query
Querying Mellanox devices firmware ...
Device #1:
----------
Device Type: ConnectX3Pro
Part Number: MCX314A-BCC_Ax
I know your quote wasn't directed to me, but I ended up with 5 of these cards from the same seller. All of them are CX314A-BCCT. And all 5 say "Connect-x3 Pro" on the sticker on the back. They have different dates and different rev's though. One even says "Engineering Sample". I have only had a chance to install one, and I only got as far as downloading drivers and getting it to recognize in device manager. Hope to try and transfer files before the weekend. Is yours marked as 314a or 354a on the back?
I just gone mine and are all maked ConnectX-3 EN 40GB 314a. I.e no mention about Pro.
And your testing with iperf3, i assume it's 10G you were testing since you use SFP+?
