Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of building a home server room, and I have the following question. Which network cards and cables will be fully compatible with the Arista DCS-7050S-R switch? I have heard that Arista switches are compatible with any SFP+ cables, is that true? Are there any specific things I should pay attention to when purchasing NICs? Will NICs such as MCX4121A-XCAT with compatible cables be suitable for this switch?

I've used connect-x3 and 4 succesfully with different dac cables and optical transceivers successfully on a dcs-7050q-16.
So far I only had a problem when I used a "new" 100gbe aoc and the link would only work at 10gbe. I suspect that my old switch doesn't know that new ethernet standard and negotiates to the "fastest common" speed which in my cases was 10gbe...
