I can't squeeze more than 288 H/s (cryptonight, not lite) out of my Visiontek 550. That's just playing with xmr-stak settings, though, not messing with freq and voltage (yet). On Debian 9 with the latest AMDGPU-pro driver.

Also, I'm a bit disappointed in my 570. It's a Sapphire Pulse ITX. It's got standard specs, no "factory overclock" like many 570's have, but I did do voltage/freq tweaks on it which helped, but still only 670 H/s. It's on a W10 machine that's running a Vega 64 at 2050.

From what I have read, RX 4xx and 5xx come into their own after bios mods. I've yet to try this myself (nor do I own any of those yet, just 1060s and Vegas currently).

Received XFX RX460 2gb yesterday, it is a golden card with Samsung ram.
12 hours stable with XMR 476 H/s

Step to mod
Polaris editor 1.6.x "one click timing patch" , flash bios

OverDriveNtool.ini
GPU_P7=1220;950
Mem_P1=1950;850

xmr-stak v2.2.0
"gpu_threads_conf" : [
{ "index" : 0, "intensity" : 384, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false, "strided_index" : false },
{ "index" : 0, "intensity" : 384, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false, "strided_index" : false },
],

Power for entire rig is 102w , RX 460 card is 52w , base computer is 50w
No memory error
I could get it to go 10-20 H/s more , but more power.
Not bad for a $70 card.

Careful with the XFX cards. The heatsinks block the memory from the fan's air. If temps get too high, the memory performance will degrade permanently. Either have a fan pointed at the memory directly or clock them down a bit.

MSI RX 550 2 GB LP card paid $65 on ebay
Stock XMR 312 H/s

After RAM timing mod, XRM 400 H/s
Power for entire rig is 70w , base computer consumes ~25w , RX 550 consumes 45w
Steps to mod
Polaris 1.6.x "one click timing patch"

OverDriveNtool failed to apply memory clock even with stock setting. Do not know why?
Therefore it is just stock GPU and RAM clock.

I wonder if these can go in the dual node 2u Supermicro chassis. The riser card has 2 x16 slots (x8 electrical). :)

If you want to put it in SM chassis, be sure to pick rx 460/560/550 cards without 6pin power plug.

I am testing a Gigabyte RX560 2GB card now, with bios mod , it is hitting 502H/s XMR.
4 x Gigabyte RX 560 would hit 2KH/s XMR.

For those looking at 560s here's something else to be aware of:

AMD quietly made some Radeon RX 560 graphics cards worse
They disabled some of the stream processors taking them from 1024 down to 896, My first 560 I got is one of them. Supposedly you can follow the 460 unlock process to unlock the additional processors/smds. My supposed 560 2gb, is really a 460 2gb, so I might try the process on it. Right now I am getting about 396 h/s on my 560 4gb, and about 746 h/s on the 480 4GB after the bios mods. If anyone has some suggestions to push some more hash/s I am all ears.

Your RX 560 has 14 compute unit already and have 4GB vram , it is really a nice cards.
My understanding is that for RX 460/560 mining whether it has 14 cu or 12 cu is not the bottleneck.
It will run out of 2gb vram long before running out of compute unit.

See my post #25 and #29 in this thread, on how to mod the cards.

I got RX RX 560 with 2gb pushing 475 h/s xmr , 63% XMR hashrate of your RX 480 for little money.

Since there is not reasonable price for the higher end of RX cards , the low end card are harder to find below $100 now.

Correct. overdriventool.exe is a very nice and easy tools to set undervolt for AMD cards.
Windows AMD driver is mile better then linux version.

Please share what you got on Ebay.
Sorry, forgot to circle the wagon on this (probably too late to matter now). I bought nvidia 960s, but I wasn't very thrilled with them. Performance of a 1050 with the power draw of a 1060. 160 sol/s on equihash @ 100w. Meh.

RX 560 ,RX 460 are the same performance, not worth mining ZEC.
3 cards only produced 350 sol/s , using 220w

RX 460, 560 are good for cryptonight mining

I didn't realize this wasn't the case with NVidia gear.

I also have a R7 270 that I bought for $65 here on the forums, and it's chugging along at 400H/s bone stock. Probably >100w power draw though. It'll probably ROI faster than anything else I've bought.
