Another hot one for the SFP+ community ... I guess bids ~125USD will be accepted

But if you get it for 125 US$, you ship these for max. 100US$ and then pay ~50EUR tax etc. Thats still just 250EUR. Or am I missing something? That's a steal. Would love to find these deals in Europe as well, but unfortunately the exact same devices go for 10x the asking price on eBay EU.
You're not missing anything, that's still good Guess I'm still salty because lots of times they don't ship outside of the US or with insane shipping costs (>$300US).But if you get it for 125 US$, you ship these for max. 100US$ and then pay ~50EUR tax etc. Thats still just 250EUR. See (and maybe ask) here: https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?threads/arista-dcs-7050tx-64-f-ebay-us.42180/post-402621 my understanding of the difference between these 2 units is the fan direction, so should be the same noise. From a range to no noise to yo mamma, how loud is this?
not silent, but after configuring fans, much quiter than average idle 1U serverFrom a range to no noise to yo mamma, how loud is this?
And these are $195 now--what were they priced when you posted the link?not sure how low they will go, but if you wanted SFP+ instead of RJ45 the same place has these:

Yeah that is why we use DAC for these sweet sfp+copper is much easier to work with than fiber.
4$ for the pair and that is already more than im used to paying for DACs in lots of 5-10.Now you can find 10G transceivers for 2 USD each, so fiber is slightly cheaper.
Is there a way to utilize fiber with the 40g ports? a breakout cable that also converts to sfp+? I have a box full of 10G sfp+ adapters and transceivers. Would be nice if I could utilize them. I have a fiber switch collecting dust because it's ridiculously loud. I had another fiber switch I destroyed trying to replace the fans.Yeah that is why we use DAC for these sweet sfp+
