Would you have a reasonable Priced 32C EPYC Zen2 CPU you could create a bundle with a H11SSL-i Motherboard Rev. 2.0 ? I don't think I saw that Combo ....

(I'll have to hold off buying this EPYC System until next Month because my Budget for the Month is already gone)
My friend, we have this combination. Currently, I recommend the combination h11ssl-i+amd epyc 7532

I see, you have that Combination with the RAM Indeed.

Which I guess for around 112 EUR extra (Compared to the 552 EUR of the 7402 Combination without RAM) is probably better to get anyways in case my own RAM doesn't work (only 2 sticks of 16GB DDR4 RDIMM, but enough to get started I guess).

This one, right ? I hope the Prices hold until next Month at least ...

Seems like the Supermicro H11SSL-i + 7402 Combination increased in Price but the Supermicro H11SSL-i + 7532 Combination did NOT :).

Any News on the Supermicro H11SSL-i Rev. 2 having similar Issues to the Supermicro H12SSL early Revisions which were affected by early Failures (I saw some Posts on another Thread about that IIRC) ?

I was contacted about that new MB and looks good.

South H12D-8D SP3 motherboard performance=Supermicro h12ssl-i support 7002-7003

SThe 12D-8D motherboard adopts ATX board type, 14 layer PCB design, equipped with 9+5-phase 60A DrMOS power supply, and has 2 sets of EPS 8Pin CPU power supply interfaces.

The specific expandability of this motherboard is as follows:

Memory:
8 x DDR4 (1DPC), up to 3200MT/s;

PCIe slot:
4 x PCIe 4.0 x 16.

Storage:
3× M.2 2280,PCIe 4.0×4;
3 x SFF-8643 4i, PCIe 4.0 x 4, both support 1/4 SATA III 6Gbps;
4× SATA III 6Gbps

Network:
2 x Intel I226-V, supporting 2.5GbE;
1 x Realtek RTL8201F, supports 100MbE, IPMI management network port, requires BMC module.

Audio:
Guanghua Chip (Shuhua) CJC6811A USB Digital Audio SoC

External I/O:
In board connectors: 1 set of USB-A 5Gbps, 1 set of USB-A 480Mbps;

Rear interface: 1 x VGA (BMC module required), 2 x USB-A 480Mbps, 4 x USB-A 5Gbps, 2 x 2.5GbE RJ45, 1 x 100MbE RJ45 IPMI network port (BMC module required), 2 x audio jacks.

500 EUR for the Motherboard alone.

Plus at least another 600 EUR for the CPU.

Yikes :eek:

But anyway that doesn't answer the question about the Quality and if the H11SSL-i Rev. 2.0 is also plagued by the same Issues that the early Revisions of the H12SSL Rev. 1.0x (???) had.

H11DSi 2.0 don't support PCIe 4.0 - weak VRMs.
Not sure I need PCIe 4.0. What about weak VRMs ?

but the new chinese H12D has to proof future support (reliable, BIOS, warranty)
Meaning it's Quality is unknown basically, right ?

This is really not my Month though. I just got my Salary and the EPYC Plan is already falling apart. Same with the Plan of getting some cheap 4u SC846/SC847 Chassis to install a bunch of HDDs for the Backup Server.
