I have a NEC N8103-178 card (3108 chip) that is giving me some headaches.
I am trying to flash it so I can either get IT or JBOD mode out of it.
- asrock x370 itx motherboard
- 3400ge pro cpu

I want to revert an LSI 9212-4i I bought used to its factory defaults, so I can create a hardware RAID-1 on it. It is currently in HBA/IT mode, and I would like to get it back to a raid card.
All the guides I find online are IR to IT, and I can't find the firmware downloads anywhere.
UPDATE 7/11/2018 - It's been discovered that the version 8 Brocade firmware originally on the site was an internal-use only, untested beta version. It has been removed from the guide and replaced with the latest v7 mainstream release which is rock stable, well tested and has had a few more...

I'm currently using my C6100 as my 'desktop PC' and as you all know.. The fans on them are very powerful and quite loud.
Sometimes after the C6100 has been running for about an hour or so... the fans will drop down to 1/4 or 1/2 speed.. and the noise will be 'bareable'
